Lower limbs

Hip, Knee, Ankle and Foot

OrthoCompass captures structured outcomes across the lower limb from hip to toe including soft tissue procedures, arthroplasty, and the complications that rarely appear in registry data. Lower limb trauma and tumours affecting bone or soft tissue of the leg are monitored with relevant outcome measures.

Patient encounters are also monitored for outcomes specific to the hip, including arthritis and issues related to hip replacement. Other hip conditions are monitored with regionally specific cohorts with follow-up duration defined by expectations for recovery. OrthoCompass only collects information that also appears relevant for patients during their recovery period.

Knee cohorts include arthritis, tibiofemoral instability, meniscal pathology, cartilage disorders, patellofemoral issues including instability and issues after joint replacement.

Foot and ankle conditions are monitored with an expanding combination of pathology-specific cohorts (arthritis, instability), as well as cohorts defined by anatomical regions such as forefoot.
