Trust and governance in the data journey
Every step of the data journey is governed by the PROPELLER HREC-approved protocol. The registry holds standing ethics approval with project approval provided by a streamlined process through the Registry Advisory Panel. The PROPELLER Registry Advisory Panel, comprising peer orthopaedic surgeons, oversees how the registry operates and how data is used.
Regulatory references reflect TGA guidance current as of 2026. Post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) requirements are subject to active TGA consultation and are not yet settled regulation. Sponsor arrangements are structured in accordance with the MTAA Code of Practice.
