SUB-SPECIALITIES
Upper Limb
Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand
OrthoCompass captures structured outcomes across the full range of upper limb pathology, including procedures for which no systematic national data currently exists. Upper limb trauma and tumours affecting bone or soft tissue of the shoulder girdle and upper limb are monitored with relevant outcome measures.
Patient encounters are also monitored for outcomes specific to the shoulder such as instability, rotator cuff pathology, adhesive capsulitis, glenohumeral arthritis, acromioclavicular pathology, as well as issues after shoulder replacement.

Elbow, wrist and hand are monitored with regionally specific cohorts with follow-up duration defined by expectations for recovery. OrthoCompass only collects information that also appears relevant for patients during their recovery period.
